Fashion Photography

Fashion has been taking over the world for a very, very long time, ever since adam and eve were forced to cover up for their sins, clothing was born, and so was the fashion industry, it expanded and spread across the world. We need clothes, clothes are fashion. But how are people to know what to wear? How are we to know what's in fashion, what is fashionable and what isn't? The answer to that is Media. Fashion is advertised everywhere! Bus Stops, Signs, Magazines, TV, Films, the list just goes on and on. But why is it so important? Photography and Fashion have manipulated the population and brainwashed them into thinking you need to be a size 0 to be excepted, which i think is just unexceptable.

Most of the photos we see in magazines these days have been edited by photoshop and have been maipulated into something they're not. Which is wrong. How can you follow advice from magazines about fashion when they're lying to the audience by editing pictures into something that they're not, whether its by removing weight from the body, or removing wrinkles or even boosting the size of the models breasts. It just makes people feel insucure about their bodies, and pushes them into being something they're not, which is what i think is wrong with this day and age, it's just lies after lies after lies. However, i can understand where the editing comes from, artists and photographers want their work to look its absolute best, and sometimes for that to happen you need to edit the photos you have taken, but i don't think they should be used as examples in magazines as it gives the wrong idea.
